During cooler months, you might find yourself reaching for your darker lipsticks more often. You’re not alone. Moody reds and purples are our favorite shades during fall and winter. This holiday season, pair your berry lips with a black and dark gold smokey eye for a vampy and sexy look.

10. GOLD GLITTER EYE

We’re obsessed with this gold glitter look. So, how to make your eyes sparkle like this? You will need two products – eye glitter glue & loose glitter. If you are a glitter lover like us, this type of glue is a MUST in your makeup bag. The product is designed to keep the glitter on the eyes all night long (or until you take it off). Crazy!

11. BLACK SMOKEY EYE WITH A POP OF COLOR

If the gold glitter look is too much for you (even for the holidays), this black smokey eye with a pop of color will make you go ‘WOW’.

Step 1: Grab your favorite blending brush. Take a light brown eyeshadow and place it above the crease. This will be your transition color.

Step 2: Take a black matte eyeshadow and apply it to the crease.

Step 3: Take a gel eyeliner and pat it all over your lid. You can also use it as a base for any eyeshadow color – a black base will make the colors pop like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Next, using a shader brush pack the black eyeshadow from the last step all over the gel liner.

Step 4: Take a clean blending brush and blend until everything looks perfectly blended. This might take a while.

Step 5: Line the bottom lash line with the gel liner and smoke it out with the transition shade you’ve used in the step #1. Highlight the inner corner of the eye, apply purple eye pencil to the lower waterline and finish the look by applying false lashes.

12. BLACK LINER + RED LIPS

Let’s face it, many of us will not have the time to experiment with different makeup looks. Instead we will opt for a look that is simple, easy to do yet looks amazing – cat eye &  bold lips. You simply can’t go wrong with a winged eyeliner and red matte lips for the holidays. For this look, you will need only four products: black liquid eyeliner, mascara, nude liner for the waterline and a red lipstick.

13. GOLD GLITTER EYES + PINK LIPS

Step 3: With an angled brush, apply a dark brown shade in the crease.

Step 4: Blend, blend, blend!

Step 5: Take a concealer and carve out the crease.

Step 6: Apply a copper eyeshadow over the concealer with a flat eyeshadow brush.

Step 7: Apply a glitter glue to your eyelid then pack a  copper glitter on top of it.

Step 8: Apply a winged liner, highlight the inner corner of the eyes, and smoke out the lower lash line. Complete the look with a pair of wispy eyelashes.
